The Shadows

Of Peter
Acts 5:14-28

THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
This dispensation (times and season of God’s workings on earth after the Lord Jesus Christ died and rose from the dead) has always been for the Holy Spirit. The earth is under the rule and influence of God the Holy Spirit now.

“Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you. And when he has come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe not on me; Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more; Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.” John‬ 16:7-11‬ KJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬.‬‬‬‬

WE SHALL HAVE THIS HAPPEN to us
“Insomuch that they brought forth the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at the least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them.”
Acts‬ 5:15‬ KJV‬. See Acts 19:11-12;‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

My God! Apostle Peter was on “FIRE.” Apostle Paul was ablaze. They were burning up; every touch was a fireball of healing and deliverance; every of their walk was the fire of hope, joy, and rest. WE WANT THIS TO HAPPEN TO US.

“And Stephen, full of faith and power, did great wonders and miracles among the people. Then there arose certain of the synagogue, which is called the synagogue of the Libertines, and Cyrenians, and Alexandrians, and of them of Cilicia and of Asia, disputing with Stephen. And they were not able to resist the wisdom and the spirit by which he spake.” Acts‬ 6:8-10‬ KJV‬. ‬‬

Five (5) different sects of religious zealots and theologians could not stand the Wisdom by which Stephen spoke. He took all of their opposition apart. It had to take only the Supernatural knowledge and understanding of the Holy Spirit to do this.‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

MEANT for Signs & Wonders

The Lord Jesus said what IMPACT will come on the Disciples through the POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT manifestation.

“And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.” Mark‬ 16:17-18‬ KJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

This statement is out of this world. This life and experience are beyond the realm of the natural. WHAT IS THIS? Common, let’s be for real. Is this a joke? But it is not. That is who we are in Christ; this is the substance we are; this is the nature of our spiritual Father. Col.1:13;

“Behold, I and the children whom the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.” Isaiah‬ 8:18‬ KJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

THE TIME Has Come

Saints, the time for the Power of the Holy Spirit to take us to a whole new level of IMPACT has come.

“But ye shall receive power, after that, the Holy Ghost has come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.” Acts‬ 1:8‬ KJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

How Do We Get the Power of the Holy Spirit

1. Waiting on the Lord. Isaiah 40:31;
2. Through Prayer and Fasting. Matthew 17:20-21;
3. Through genuine repentance. Acts 2:38;
4. By asking and calling on the Lord. Acts 2:16-21;
5. Through correct teachings. Acts 19:1-5;
6. Through laying on of hands. Acts 19:6-7;

PRAYER POINTS

1. Father in the name of Jesus, we ask that you set us ablaze for you Lord through the Power of the Holy Spirit; we surrender our lives today for the infilling of the Holy Spirit; baptized us afresh today with your Holy Spirit;
2. Father in the name of Jesus, let your Holy Spirit burn and destroy all erroneous teachings, doctrines, dogmas, and understanding on the Holy Spirit; we erase today from our spiritual database any hindrance, fear, and reluctance in fully surrendering to the power and move of the Holy Spirit;
3. Father in the name of Jesus, this must happen to us, we need that same power and anointing that was on Peter, Stephen, and Paul, that even shadows and handkerchiefs healed the sick;
4. Father in the name of Jesus, we cry today that we become unsatisfied with our lives of LIFELESS POWER, and help us crave for more POWER, filled with your LOVE; help us to walk in your ways which requires the manifestation of your Holy Spirit;
