God Shall Confirm

1 Samuel 3:16-21

GOD Shall Confirm your worth
It is not what God shall do; he has already done it. Like Samuel who, and what you are shall be revealed to your family, loved ones, business associates, colleagues, city, and nation this year. God shall establish you this year.

“And Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground. And all Israel from Dan even to Beer–Sheba knew that Samuel was established to be a prophet of the Lord.” 1 Samuel‬ 3:19-20‬ KJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

Necessary Situation
There must of necessity be the good, bad and ugly. We mean this is in the spiritual sense. “Now the sons of Eli were sons of Belial; they knew not the Lord.

Verse 17-18, “Wherefore the sin of the young men was very great before the Lord: for men abhorred the offering of the Lord. But Samuel ministered before the Lord, being a child, girded with a linen ephod.” 1 Samuel‬ 2:12, 17-18‬ KJV‬. Amid darkness and corruption, God will turn on the light in you to shine. Samuel had every exposure to Hophni and Phinehas’s evils and would have followed their ways. But he had the power of choice, his freewill. His ministry and life were confirmed when he chose to follow God’s ways rather than Eli’s children’s evil ways.

Performs the Counsel of His of His Servants
“That confirmeth the word of his servant, and performeth the counsel of his messengers; that saith to Jerusalem, Thou shalt be inhabited; and to the cities of Judah, Ye shall be built, and I will raise up the decayed places thereof:” Isaiah‬ 44:26‬ KJV‬‬

God’s Word has gone out of his mouth and shall not return void. We are on assignment this year to bring others to Christ, live the good life, and enlarge His Kingdom. We have God’s backings as longs we do His Will and commands.

“And they went forth, and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.”Mark‬ 16:20‬ KJV‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬‬

How did Samuel achieve this?

1. A life of separation. 2 Corinthians. 6:14-17;
2. Reverence for the Lord. Ps.95:6;
3. Made God #1 in his life; He placed Him first on his agenda; Matt.6:33;
4. Obedience to God’s Will. Kept His Word; Lk.5:4-6;
5. Heard from the Lord; Jn.10:1-3;
6. He was teachable; had a learning heart; Pro.4:1;
7. Pursued God wholly; Jer.29:13; song, “I am chasing after you.”
8. Sort to lift God alone; put His Interest first; Eli’s Children never did; Ex.20:3;

PRAYER POINTS

1. Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for the Anointing of “Emmanuel, God with us” today, confirming our Calling, Ministry, and Destiny; that no longer shall be carried to and fro by the gossiping of men and women, but by your Word and the opinion you have about our lives is what matters;
2. Father in the name of Jesus, today amidst the troubled waters of our times, sins, and compromise, we yield entirely and wholly to you; with all of our hearts, we recognize you as the only true and loving Father;
3. Father in the name of Jesus, thank you for taking us deeper into the furnace of affliction; thank you for allowing the fire to bring out our true form. 1 Peter 1.7; this year we shall never seek to promote ourselves, toots our horns, become self-proclaimed prophets and fight for recognition. All that belongs to you, and as we seek your kingdom, they have been released automatically.
4. Father in the name of Jesus, we did not choose you, but you have chosen us and ordained us that we should go and bring forth fruits (have an impactful life, produce change) and that our fruits should remain. John 15:16; we thank you that you have earmarked us for greatness, prosperity, and righteousness this year in the unseen realm.
