Not By Might
Nor By Power
Nehemiah 1:1-6
THE SPIRIT OF GOD is moving
“All over the world the Spirit is moving; All over the world as the prophets said it would be; All over the world there is a mighty revelation of the glory of the Lord, as, the water covers the seas.”
JERUSALEM Was in Ruins
The Judgment of God had taken its toll. According to the Word of the Lord, the enemies invaded, and the cities were destroyed, including Jerusalem. Deut 31:16-17. Solomon temple of Gold built for the Lord was in ruins, and all the treasuries loathed. It was a mega nightmare to think of rebuilding. Then God spoke. “Therefore thus saith the Lord; I am returned to Jerusalem with mercies: my house shall be built in it, saith the Lord of hosts, and a line shall be stretched forth upon Jerusalem.” Zechariah 1:16 KJV
Just as many nations, cities, businesses, churches, families, and individuals are in ruins from the COVID-19 pandemic or other famine situations, so was the nation of Israel. It was an impossible or unachievable task. Does this represent you? Probably not as bad as this. If so, thank God. But the Spirit of the Lord is speaking. GOD HAS A PLAN.
GOD Will Deal with your Impossibilities.
“And said unto him, Run, speak to this young man, saying, Jerusalem shall be inhabited as towns without walls for the multitude of men and cattle therein:” Zechariah 2:4 KJV
As God is making you ready to begin rebuilding your life, nation, cities, business, and churches, against all the odds, we need to be clear who is doing the Work of rebuilding and connect with it. This year, The Holy Spirit shall impact our lives as we have never seen before.
DIVINE HELPERS are on the Way.
“Then he answered and spake unto me, saying, This is the word of the Lord unto Zerubbabel, saying, Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts.” Zechariah 4:6 KJV. Whatever devastation you may have suffered last year, God has mobilized divine helpers to come to your aid and rescue. It has been concluded in the spirit realm this matter.
GRACE for Extraordinary Things
To rebuild Jerusalem, God began to move and raise men. Impactful men and women began to emerge, and one of them was Nehemiah. “O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king’s cupbearer.” Nehemiah 1:11 KJV.
Divine helpers shall emerge and shall arrive at your doorstep. Nehemiah 2:17-18;
OPPOSERS shall arise, but let God deal with them. Nehemiah 2:19-20; As God begins His work and ministry of impact, renew, refurbish, restore, take you to a whole new level, open new doors, and grant access, etc., there will be many disgruntled men and women. There will be individuals that will ensure that you never rise. But they are lying. It is too late.
“And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen up today, ye shall see them again no more forever.” Exodus 14:13 KJV
It is Finished.
We serve a God who knows the end from the beginning and the beginning from the end.
“So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty and two days. And it came to pass, that when all our enemies heard thereof, and all the heathen that were about us saw these things, they were much cast down in their own eyes: for they perceived that this work was wrought of our God.” Nehemiah 6:15-16 KJV
PRAYER POINTS
- Father in the name of Jesus, we thank you for bringing us into a whole new realm and height of impact; and from where we stand overseeing the devastation and ruins, help us to see the rebuilding taking place; allow us to see walls erected, streets built, and lights turned back on.
- Father in the name of Jesus, we embrace the Holy Spirit moves and agendas for our lives, families, churches, businesses, and cities; we thank you for the release of divine helpers which you already stationed to take on the task of impacting our conditions and situations;
- Father in the name of Jesus, we decree today against those enemies of our souls that would choose to block and hinder our path to recovery and impactful ministry and lives; we cause a breach of their plans and schemes and overturn it in Jesus mighty name;
- Father in the name of Jesus, help us take our eyes off man, off our selves, off our government, and let’s focus it on you, the author and finisher of our faith;
